Community Guidelines

These Community Guidelines (as defined below) of Ithi Private Limited (“Company”) prescribe behavioural standards expected from the Users (as defined below) on the Platform (as defined below) and should include prohibitions on harassment, bullying, abusive conduct, discriminatory behaviour, impersonation, spam, unauthorised solicitation, deceptive opportunity postings, intimidation, sharing of personal information without consent, and use of the Company’s Platform that undermines trust or professional safety.

Users must use the Company’s Platform in a professional, respectful, and lawful manner consistent with the purpose of enabling safe and credible networking and coordination in the media and production ecosystem. 

Users agree and acknowledge that although the Company may take moderation and enforcement measures, the Company does not guarantee screening, endorsement, or risk-free interaction with every User, listing, opportunity, or communication on the Platform. 

  1. Definitions 


  1. “Applicable Law” means all Indian statutes, laws, rules, regulations, notifications, circulars, governmental guidelines, judicial decisions, regulatory directions, industry codes, and other binding legal requirements applicable to the Company, the Platform, the Services, the relevant User, or the subject matter concerned, as amended from time to time;


  1. Community Guidelines” means the behavioural and conduct standards published by the Company from time to time governing User conduct, safety, professional standards, prohibited behaviour, reporting, and enforcement on the Platform; 


  1. Company” means Ithi Private Limited, and includes its successors, permitted assigns, affiliates, and authorised representatives, as the context may require; 


  1. Content” means any data, information, text, images, videos, audio, listings, profiles, messages, documents, links, or materials uploaded, shared, transmitted, or otherwise made available by a User on the Platform;


  1. Platform” means the digital platform, website, application, interface, tools, functionalities, databases, and related services operated, owned, or made available by the Company for networking, coordination, opportunity discovery, project creation, professional engagement, event discovery, listing, communication, content hosting, and related interactions in the media and production ecosystem;   


  1. User” means any person or entity who accesses, browses, registers on, uses, interacts with, lists on, uploads content to, purchases services through, or otherwise uses the Platform in any capacity, including visitors, registrants, businesses, event organizers, service providers, talent resources, technical crew, support staff, agents, managers, and other creative professionals or entities.





  1. Professional Standards


  1. Users shall interact on the Platform in a manner consistent with good faith industry practice, professional courtesy, and lawful conduct. Users must not misuse the Platform’s networking, discovery, recruitment, messaging, listing, storage, or event-related features in any way that is exploitative, coercive, deceptive, unsafe, or inconsistent with the intended purpose of professional engagement within the film, media, advertising, digital content, and related creative sectors.


  1. Users shall ensure that all information, credentials, portfolios, affiliations and representations made on the Platform are accurate, current and not misleading.


  1. Users shall be solely responsible for evaluating the legitimacy, safety and suitability of any engagement, opportunity or interaction initiated through the Platform.


  1. Prohibited Behaviour


  1. Users must not engage in or attempt to engage in:



  1. acts constituting harassment, bullying, stalking, intimidation, exploitation, or abuse in any form; 

  2. discriminatory behaviour based on gender, caste, religion, disability, race, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics; 

  3. impersonation, false affiliation claims, misrepresentation, or deceptive conduct; 

  4. spam, unsolicited mass outreach, misleading solicitation, or phishing-like conduct; 

  5. deceptive listings, fee-for-role scams, exploitative auditions, or unlawful recruitment practices; 

  6. unauthorised disclosure of personal information, or sharing private communications without consent;

  7. promote unlawful discrimination, exclusionary hiring, professionally unsafe working conditions, or illegal labour practices;

  8. post or circulate opportunities, notices, or requests that are false, materially incomplete, exploitative, unlawful, or inconsistent with professional standards;

  9. any conduct creating unsafe, coercive, exploitative, or professionally hostile conditions for other Users;

  10. seek or demand payment, gifts, commissions, deposits, enrolment fees, or other consideration as a condition for engagement or hiring, except for clearly disclosed and lawful paid services expressly enabled through the Platform; 

  11. falsely represent association with a producer, director, studio, production house, casting agency, brand, financier, event organiser, or the Company;

  12. request, procure, upload, or circulate nudity, intimate material, sexually explicit performances, compromising footage, identity records, or other sensitive materials except where strictly necessary, lawful, clearly disclosed in advance, professionally justified, and obtained with all required consents and safeguards;

  13. pressure any User into off-platform interactions, private meetings, travel, accommodation arrangements, or informal “screen tests” in circumstances that are misleading, unsafe, or insufficiently disclosed;

  14. misuse founder-led, team-led, concierge-style, or platform-facilitated introductions to create false impressions of endorsement, guaranteed work, investment interest, or verified suitability;

  15. use the Platform to distribute malware, harmful files, deceptive links, or technical means intended to compromise accounts, content, or User safety;

  16. evade any moderation, suspension, verification, reporting, visibility, or access-control measure implemented by the Company;

  17. violate any Applicable Law, including laws relating to employment, labour, casting, minors, data protection or contractual obligations;

  18. upload, post, or share Content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, invasive of privacy, or otherwise objectionable under Applicable Law;

  19. infringe or misuse any intellectual property rights, including unauthorised use of scripts, footage, music, brand assets, or proprietary content;

  20. misuse Platform algorithms, search rankings, or visibility tools in a manner that is deceptive or unfair;

  21. involve minors in any activity that is unsafe, exploitative, unlawful, or not compliant with Applicable Law and required consents; and/or

  22. engage in any activity that disrupts, damages, disables, or interferes with the functioning of the Platform;


  1. Content Responsibility


  1. Users are solely responsible for the Content they upload, post or share on the Platform.


  1. The Company does not pre-screen all Content but reserves the right (without obligation) to review, moderate, remove, restrict, or disable access to any Content that violates these Guidelines or Applicable Law.


  1. Users represent that they have all necessary rights, consents, and permissions to upload and share such Content.


  1. Reporting



  1. Users may report misconduct, abusive behaviour, unsafe interactions, deceptive postings, or policy violations through the mechanisms provided on the Platform. 



  1. Users must provide accurate and complete information while making a report and must not misuse reporting mechanisms for false or malicious complaints.



  1. Users may contact the Company for queries, complaints, or rights requests through the grievance/contact mechanism made available on the Platform. All grievances by you should be addressed in writing to us at grievance officer, whose details are provided below.

  1. The Company shall endeavor to acknowledge or respond to complaints and queries within a reasonable period, in accordance with Applicable Law and internal grievance procedures.



  1. The Company may request additional information, documentation or cooperation from Users in connection with any complaint or investigation.


  1. Enforcement and Actions



  1. The Company reserves the right to take appropriate action in response to violations of these Guidelines, including:




  1. warning the User;

  2. removing or restricting Content;

  3. limiting visibility or functionality of the User’s account;

  4. suspending or terminating access to the Platform;

  5. reporting to law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required;

  6. taking legal action where appropriate.



  1. The Company may take such action with or without prior notice, where reasonably required to protect Users, the Platform or compliance obligations.



  1. Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent suspension.


  1. Off-Platform Interactions



  1. Users acknowledge that any off-platform communication, meetings, payments or engagements are undertaken at their own risk.



  1. The Company shall not be responsible for any conduct, dispute or harm arising from interactions that occur outside the Platform.


  1. Amendments 



  1. The Company may amend these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in Applicable Law, business operations, services, or processing practices. Updated versions shall be published on the Platform. 



  1. Where required or appropriate, the Company may also notify Users of material changes through the Platform, by email, or through other service-related communications. Continued use of the Platform after such updates shall be subject to the revised policy, to the extent permitted under Applicable Law.


  1. General



  1. If any provision of these Community Guidelines is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable under Applicable Law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.



  1. The failure of the Company to enforce any provision of these Community Guidelines shall not be construed as a waiver of its rights.



  1. These Community Guidelines shall be read together with the Platform’s Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and other applicable policies, which collectively govern the use of the Platform.



  1. In the event of any conflict between these Community Guidelines and the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use shall prevail to the extent of such conflict, unless expressly stated otherwise.



  1. These Community Guidelines shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Applicable Law.
